1. About LifeLeveled

LifeLeveled is an educational platform providing practical life skills, character-building lessons, AI coaching, and mentorship resources for young adults. By creating an account or using any part of LifeLeveled, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

LifeLeveled is designed for users aged 13 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 should register with the awareness and involvement of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized organizational handler. Family plan accounts and organizational partnerships allow designated guardians and organizational handlers to manage access for learners under their care.

We do not knowingly allow users under 13 to create accounts. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will close the account and delete all associated data in accordance with COPPA. For full details on how we handle children's privacy, see our Privacy Policy.

For school and district deployments, LifeLeveled operates as a "school official" under FERPA and signs the Texas SDPC Data Privacy Agreement where applicable. See our Privacy Policy for FERPA, COPPA, and Texas Education Code Chapter 32 compliance details.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information during registration and onboarding, including your correct date of birth. You may update your profile at any time in your account settings.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

LifeLeveled offers Free, Plus, and Family plans. Your selected plan is billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our payment processor. You can cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your billing period. Founding Member pricing is a limited-time offer and does not apply to renewals.

5. AI Coaching and Educational Content

LifeLeveled provides educational content and AI-generated coaching for general life-readiness guidance. Our AI Coach, Roleplay Lab, and Camera Coach features are tools for learning and practice — they are not professional advice. They do not replace licensed professionals for medical, legal, financial, automotive, electrical, or psychological matters.

Safety: Always follow safety warnings provided in lessons. For tasks involving electrical work, gas, vehicles on lifts, or any potentially dangerous activity, consult a qualified professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use LifeLeveled for any unlawful or harmful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or bully other users
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform
• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Misrepresent your age or identity during registration

7. Mentor and Family Features

Mentor sharing links and Family plan dashboards allow designated adults to view a learner's progress. Users control whether their progress is shared and can revoke mentor access at any time. AI conversation privacy controls are available on the Family plan.

8. Intellectual Property

All LifeLeveled content — including lessons, challenges, branding, and software — is owned by LifeLeveled or its licensors. You may use it for personal, non-commercial learning. You may not redistribute, copy, or resell content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

LifeLeveled is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the platform or from acting on educational content or AI-generated guidance. Your use of any information is at your own risk.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Privacy Policy

Our data practices, including FERPA, COPPA, and Texas Education Code Chapter 32 compliance, retention timelines, breach notification commitments, and subprocessor list, are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
