Understanding how AI works on LifeLeveled
What is AI and how does LifeLeveled use it?
"AI" (artificial intelligence) means computer programs that generate responses by predicting words based on patterns. LifeLeveled uses AI to power several features that help you practice real-life skills — like having conversations, analyzing photos, and getting personalized guidance.
You are always interacting with a computer program, never a human. The AI is not a licensed professional, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, certified driving instructor, or any kind of expert. It is a learning and practice tool.
Where AI is used
LifeLeveled Coach
Text-based conversations that help you think through life decisions and practice communication.
Camera Coach
Analyzes photos you upload (like dashboard warning lights or documents) and provides guidance.
Roleplay Lab
Practice conversations with a simulated character, then get feedback on your communication.
Driver AI Help
Personalized guidance for driver education questions — educational only, not a replacement for official state rules.
Support Assistant
Helps answer product questions and route you to the right resources.
Important limitations
- AI can make mistakes. Always verify important information independently.
- AI cannot provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.
- In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not rely on AI.
- AI does not know your full situation. Share only what is needed for the feature you're using.
- For driving rules, always verify with your state's official licensing agency.
What information may be processed
When you use an AI feature, the text you type and any photos you upload are sent to AI language model providers to generate a response. Here is what each feature may process:
- Coach: Your messages and limited conversation history.
- Camera Coach: The photo you upload and your follow-up questions.
- Roleplay: Your messages, and if you choose, résumé information like your job title, skills, and experience.
- Driver AI: Your question and the reason you're asking.
We do not send your full profile, finances, lesson history, or unrelated data unless needed for the specific feature. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How to report a response
If an AI response seems inaccurate, unsafe, inappropriate, biased, or raises a privacy concern, you can report it directly. Look for the Report button next to AI-generated responses. You don't need to leave the page you're on.
How to delete your AI history
Coach conversations: Delete any conversation from the Coach history tab.
Roleplay sessions: Delete practice sessions from the Roleplay page.
Full account deletion: Delete your entire account and all associated data from Profile Settings.
Safety design
LifeLeveled's AI features include built-in safety instructions that prioritize emergency help, set boundaries on professional advice, and restrict inappropriate content. Administrators can disable any AI feature at any time if a safety issue is identified.
